Bakery
Martin Holandesa was founded in February 1955 as a confectionery and bakery by Dutch immigrant Martin H. R. Gerritsen and his wife Diny H. Gerritsen, with the aim of serving the community that was forming in Holambra. The only confectioner and baker in the community at the time, Mr. Martin not only produced the bread, but also used his cart to deliver it to people's homes when necessary.
Restaurant
In 2007, at the head of Martin Holandesa, Kelly and Frank Gerritsen brought to Holambra the "pannekoek" (panecuque), a kind of open pancake with fillings incorporated into the dough and topped with gouda and prato cheeses, as well as other traditional Dutch recipes, such as typical dishes and portions that have been incorporated into the restaurant's menu and the events in which they participate.

Operating since 1980 in Rua Dória Vasconcelos, on Holambra's boulevard, Martin Holandesa welcomes hundreds of tourists (80% from São Paulo) and many celebrities at weekends. On Sunday mornings, it's common to come across motorcyclists from São Paulo and the surrounding region, who invade the charming "Cidade das Flores".
